We’re excited to announce that Flood IO has been acquired by Tricentis.
We started Flood four years ago to deliver the industry’s most flexible and scalable on-demand load testing solution. Since then, more than 5,000 companies have used Flood to test how their applications scale with massive load from around the world.
Tricentis offers a fresh new approach to test automation that’s gained tremendous momentum. Their innovative technology has allowed them to unseat testing stalwarts like HPE UFT and become the testing tool of choice at top companies worldwide (ExxonMobil, HBO, Whole Foods, Toyota, Allianz, BMW, Starbucks, Deutsche Bank, Lexmark, Vodafone, Telstra and UBS — to name drop a few). We share a passion for helping companies ensure that rapid software releases don’t compromise the end user experience.
What does this mean for you?
Flood IO will continue to operate as a standalone service, so you don’t have to change a thing about the way you’re working with us. As you continue flooding your applications, we’ll be working to make Flood more powerful while maintaining the simplicity and ease-of-use that we’re known for.
The Flood team has joined Tricentis and will continue driving the Flood technology forward. Partnering with Tricentis will help us advance our vision for achieving Continuous Load Testing in a DevOps environment. We’re excited about the opportunity to accelerate the path to Continuous Testing — making it faster and easier to ensure that applications meet users’ rising expectations.
In October, expect to hear about some new enterprise load testing offerings (in addition to our current plans, not in place of them). Also, we’ll be providing details about a fully-integrated offering that uses Tricentis’ script-less test cases for testing. Watch your inbox for additional updates, including an invitation to a webinar we’ll be doing along with Tricentis founder Wolfgang Platz.
